10" Rectangular Yixing Zisha Clay Bonsai Pot – Ochre Glaze

Warm ochre glaze and softly rounded corners bring a compact, earthy presence to this rectangular pot. Its straight walls and low cutout feet make a simple frame for a small tree with an expressive trunk.

Clay & Craftsmanship

This handmade Yixing Zisha clay pot has a high-temperature-fired vintage-style glaze. Fine speckling is visible across the ochre surface; no named maker is recorded.

The ochre glaze carries fine speckling across the straight walls and softened corners. It provides the visible color, while the Yixing Zisha clay forms the body underneath.

Two large drainage holes and four smaller openings are visible inside the pot. Its low cutout feet and relatively deep walls complete the compact rectangular form.

Dimensions

• Exterior dimensions (L × W × H): 10.04 × 7.48 × 3.94 in (25.5 × 19 × 10 cm)
• Interior dimensions (L × W × D): 8.62 × 6.06 × 3.31 in (21.9 × 15.4 × 8.4 cm)

Measurements are approximate. Exterior dimensions describe the overall pot; interior dimensions describe usable planting space.

Recommended Trees & Bonsai Styles

The warm glaze can visually complement a small Chinese elm, cotoneaster or informal upright juniper. Use the interior measurements to assess the pairing rather than relying on the exterior length.

Tree Size & Root Fit

The usable interior measures approximately 8.62 × 6.06 × 3.31 in (21.9 × 15.4 × 8.4 cm). Choose a tree whose root ball fits without excessive reduction.

Use the measurements above to check the healthy root ball against the usable inside opening and planting depth. Overall dimensions include the container body and do not establish planting capacity. Confirm any missing interior measurements before ordering; do not choose a tree or reduce its roots to meet a display proportion.
