Details

A precise finish for fresh bonsai cuts. Cut Paster Hi by Hanagen is a Japanese putty-style wound sealant that can be shaped by hand over pruning cuts and branch-removal wounds. This white-cap formula is intended for deciduous and other non-conifer bonsai.

For considered pruning work

  • Thick, moldable paste for covering cut surfaces
  • White-cap formula for trees such as Japanese maple, Chinese elm, hornbeam and beech
  • Made in Japan by Hanagen
  • One 160 g jar

How to apply

Make the cut with a clean, sharp tool and remove loose bark, debris and sawdust. Take a small amount of paste, knead it slightly, and press it over the cut surface or around the wound edge. Wetting your fingers helps prevent sticking. Use enough to cover the area without forcing the paste into the wound. Follow the jar directions and your species-specific pruning practice.

Keep away from children and protect clothing during application. This is the white-cap formula; choose the appropriate conifer formula for pines and junipers.
